By default, all web domains on the Internet can index one web page in the official directory. This applies to all web domains except for domains which are classified as free domains. Free domains are only allowed to index web pages in the free directory. Free domains can index an unlimited number of pages in the free directory.

In order to apply for a domain to be classified as a free domain at NetInsert, please send an email to NetInsert. The following information must be included in included in the email (preferrably organized in a numbered list as defined here):

  1. domain name
  2. owner of domain
  3. name of person responsible for the free domain application (if different from the owner)
  4. type of business or organization (e.g. Internet Service Provider (ISP), University, Research Institution etc)
  5. intended use of the free domain classification (e.g. personal home pages, academic pages, research reports etc)

If the information in the application is incomplete, NetInsert will not be able to process the application.

If NetInsert grants a domain classification as a free domain, and NetInsert finds that web pages from the domain does not fulfill the terms for using the NetInsert web directory service, NetInsert reserves the right to limit the number of pages in the free directory that the domain can index, or to block the domain from all future use at NetInsert.
